The clothing drying cabinet is equipped with a magnetic latch and a door stop on the double doors. The housing of the Firefighter 8 hot-air drying cabinet for firefighter gear is made of Sendzimir-galvanized sheet steel and is riveted multiple times at the corners for stability. In addition, the door hinges are made of hard-brazed and robustly welded sheet steel. Small rubber nubs near the door edges ensure quiet opening and closing of the cabinet.

Hot air is directed into the interior of the Firefighter 8 clothing drying cabinet via innovative, durable oval drying nozzles and a fan with a heating system. Two drying modes—recirculating air drying or heat drying—are available. The drying time for protective clothing can be set individually. The programmable 7-day timer allows you to precisely set the drying intervals on a weekly basis. This prevents the drying cabinet from consuming unnecessary electricity on weekends and holidays. A countdown timer is built into the control unit; this countdown function further simplifies the process of setting the drying cycle as desired.

The drying cabinet comes standard without hangers. However, compatible hangers for the drying cabinet are available separately as accessories (see below) and can be added as needed. Upon request, the cabinet can be equipped with blow-through hangers for a small additional charge. These direct warm air directly into wet workwear, significantly reducing drying time. The drying cabinet is also available with an optional built-in plasma ionizer, which neutralizes odors and purifies the air.
