Boot Dryer – Hot Air

The professional hot-air boot dryer eliminates foot sweat and removes moisture (available in 4 sizes).

Blowing hot air into boots and shoes is the most efficient way to gently dry footwear. The boot dryer (with a maintenance-free radial fan) directs hot air into the interior of the footwear and dries it reliably. The hot air removes both moisture that has seeped in and foot sweat.

This shoe dryer is suitable for all types of shoes. Whether ski boots, snowboard boots, children’s shoes, work shoes, boots, or low-top shoes, this shoe and boot dryer dries your footwear gently, energy-efficiently, and quickly. It is therefore ideal for drying ski and sports shoes in hotels, chalets, vacation homes, and private households. It is also perfectly suited for professional applications (e.g., the construction industry, landscaping, fire departments, and police) where wet work shoes are common.

The “Hot Air Boot Dryer” features electrically heated brackets and is additionally equipped with a radial fan, which enables particularly fast and efficient drying. This model can be used in rooms with a temperature of 15° C or higher. For lower room temperatures, we recommend the Electrically Heated Shoe Dryer with holding bars.

The air (hot air, not warm air!) flows out in all directions from the front of the hangers’ connection plugs, ensuring quick and gentle drying (no overheating). Each hanger is also individually electrically heated.

The special shape of the brackets offers the following possibilities and advantages:

• Easily hang ski boots, half-boots, children’s shoes, athletic shoes, and mid-calf boots (e.g., hiking boots, army boots)
• Efficient drying, since the toe of the shoe is facing upward
• This prevents shoes from tipping over

The professional hot air boot dryer (which is, of course, also ideal for drying shoes and gloves) uses a stream of warm air to reopen the pores in leather shoes that have become clogged with sweat, and regular use of the shoe dryer helps keep them open. Leather shoes absorb moisture from the air more quickly; drying them with a warm-air flow not only dries them faster but also ensures the results last longer.

The stainless steel panels are time-controlled (24-hour programmable timer, power cord included, ready to plug into a 230-volt outlet). The power cord is approximately 1.80 m long and is located at the top center of the unit. The programmable timer offers the great advantage of allowing you to specify exactly when and for how long the drying cycle should run, without having to manually start the shoe dryer at that time. This makes it convenient to dry wet shoes, for example, in the middle of the night. In addition, an on/off switch is available (see Accessories below), which can be used to turn the boot dryer off completely. However, this switch can only be installed during the cabinet’s production, as retrofitting is not possible.

Upon request, the hot-air shoe dryer can be supplied with a timer featuring a weekly program instead of the 24-hour timer (see Options). With this timer, the drying time can be programmed for 7 days with a precision of 2 hours. By programming an entire week, you can ensure that the dryer does not consume energy unnecessarily over the weekend. With this 7-day timer, there is no need to reset the settings before the weekend or reprogram them at the start of the week.

The hot air boot dryer is designed for wall mounting. The hot air boot dryer is delivered on a pallet, ready to plug in. Delivery is by truck to the curb. On-site installation is not included in the price. However, wall mounting is extremely simple thanks to the included installation instructions (template) for drilling the mounting holes, which also include the necessary screws and anchors.
