These transparent disposable gloves are made entirely of durable CPE. CPE is a thermoplastic to which chlorine has been added; in other words, it is chlorinated polyethylene. The chlorination makes the polyethylene stronger and more durable. This also makes the single use gloves completely impervious to liquids. CPE is therefore an affordable, durable material and is ideally suited for disposable products. The use of CPE offers the advantage that the disposable gloves can be made latex-free and powder-free . Polyethylene is also just as soft as vinyl, but less expensive than nitrile.
The surface of these transparent, disposable CPE gloves has been specially textured to provide greater comfort. These comfortable disposable gloves are classified as Risk Category 1 and are particularly suitable for handling all types of food. They are liquid-resistant and food-safe.
