Dirty shoes are first placed on the stainless steel grating and the 12 sole brushes. The stainless steel spray nozzles mounted on the sides thoroughly wet the shoes with liquid. The sole brushes, against which work shoes rub during the cleaning process, thoroughly remove dirt. During cleaning, the stainless steel handrail provides a secure place to hold on to. On the left side of the handrail is a high-quality, water-fed stainless steel hand-washing brush equipped with a water hose. This allows for individual and precise cleaning of work shoes. An automatic water shut-off valve is also integrated into the handrail, which can be easily operated with one hand. The “Built-in shoe washing station for Renovation” also features a certified system separator in accordance with DIN EN 1717, which protects water quality.
The shoe washing station is recessed into a stainless steel grating, allowing for versatile installation. For example, it can be installed directly into manhole covers or over a watertight floor recess. The “Built-in Shoe Washing Station for Renovation” therefore offers a high degree of flexibility in choosing the installation location. It is particularly popular with fire departments, in military barracks, as well as in agriculture and commercial operations. It is also ideal as a replacement for older models, such as the former “Rotter” model, when renovating shoe-cleaning stations. With the included 1.5-meter-long flexible hose and the conversion kit for water lines, switching to the newer models is hassle-free. In some cases, the Shoe washing station can even be connected to existing floor pans.
The boot washer comes standard with an integrated Splash guard. The grating and the 12 brushes of the Shoe washing station can be easily removed and replaced, allowing for simple maintenance and cleaning. The water connection must comply with local water regulations and should be installed by an authorized specialist company. An electrical connection is not required. If you are interested in a shoe washing station that includes a floor tray, we recommend the “low-profile built-in work-shoe washing station.”
