Compared to standard entrance turnstiles, a portal turnstile offers significantly higher security and reliably prevents people from climbing over or bypassing the barrier. The portal turnstile is made entirely of high-quality 1.4301 stainless steel and, thanks to its high corrosion resistance, performs reliably even in wet and outdoor environments. While conventional entrance turnstiles regulate access, a full-height portal turnstile ensures secure single-person passage. This effectively prevents unauthorized access, as it is impossible to bypass or climb over the barrier.

Users can move the turnstile to the next home position with minimal effort. The rotation speed automatically adjusts to the person passing through. If no one passes through, the access authorization is automatically revoked after a preset time, which is ideal for access control in high-traffic areas.
The portal turnstile is available in three versions (see options). The mechanical version offers a particularly robust and low-maintenance solution for simple applications without electronics. The single-sided electric version is suitable when only one direction needs to be specifically controlled, while the return path remains mechanically locked. The fully electric version is the most convenient choice for high-traffic entrances, as both directions can be electronically controlled and it integrates seamlessly into existing access control or hygiene systems.
