To clean the soles of the shoes, the shoe is guided over the central sole brush. Built-in spray nozzles direct water onto the brush, helping to remove mud, dirt, and other debris. The system provides enough space for two people to clean their shoes at the same time.

Two water-fed hand brushes are available for cleaning the uppers of shoes. These allow for targeted cleaning of even hard-to-reach areas on work and safety shoes. The shoes can be conveniently placed on the stainless steel grating.

Wastewater and coarse debris are collected in the stainless steel dirt collection tray and drained away through the drain. The tray can be easily removed for cleaning. A sludge collection bucket, with or without an odor trap, is available as an option (see Options).

Two side splash guards and a rear splash guard are available for additional splash protection, helping to keep the surrounding area clean and as dry as possible (see Options). For an additional charge, the standard plastic hand-washing brush can be replaced with a professional stainless-steel hand-washing brush featuring nylon bristles, a hand-lever quick-release valve, and a sturdy, wire-braided hose (see options).

The water connection must comply with the regulations of the responsible water utility. The European standard DIN EN 1717 serves as the guiding principle, supplemented by national standards. The drinking water installation must be performed exclusively by a licensed contractor. When connecting to the drinking water system, a system separator or pipe separator approved by the building owner must be used (not included in the scope of delivery).
