The walk-through disinfection basin is recessed into the floor and bolted in place in front of the entrance to the protected production area. To enter the hygiene area, employees must walk through the disinfection basin. As they do so, they stand on a slip-resistant stainless steel grating, which is positioned below the liquid level of the disinfectant solution you have selected. As they walk through the basin, their boots, clogs, and work shoes are repeatedly immersed in the disinfectant solution, ensuring that the soles and edges of the soles are thoroughly disinfected.

In addition to efficiently and thoroughly disinfecting shoe soles and the edges of soles, disinfection basins require very little maintenance and cleaning. The disinfectant solution can be conveniently refilled manually using a hand-lever valve. To empty the disinfection basin in just a few moments at the end of a shift, the drain plug can simply be pulled out. The standpipe valve also ensures that the basin does not overflow. To clean the disinfection basin, the grating can be easily removed and cleaned with standard cleaning agents.
