Procedure for hand disinfection at the Entry Control:

1. When approaching the entry control device, a red indicator LED signals that the entry control system is ready for use. The employee then places their hands in the openings of the hand sanitizer dispenser.

2. Sensors in the hand sanitizer module detect the continuous presence of hands and trigger the sanitizing process. Full-cone spray nozzles distribute the sanitizer evenly over the hands. The position of the nozzles ensures that the sanitizer is distributed over the entire surface of the hands. The dosage of the sanitizer can be adjusted to meet the individual needs of each facility. Excess sanitizer is collected in a drip tray located beneath the entry control unit and can be easily emptied.

3. Once the sensors have confirmed the employee’s presence throughout the entire disinfection process, the high-quality, electrically controlled stainless steel turnstile is unlocked. This is indicated by a green indicator LED. The employee can walk through the specially cushioned turnstile and enter the hygiene area with thoroughly disinfected hands. To signal that the system is ready for the next employee, the indicator LED changes back from green to red.

The entry control unit with hand disinfection dispenser is ready for installation; however, the price does not include the siphon, backflow preventer, gaskets, small parts, or installation. The unit is available separately but can also be ordered as an accessory for the PROFI line of hygiene stations.
