Walk-through Boot and Sole Washer

This combined cleaning system for boots and soles is ideal for medium- and large-sized companies in the pharmaceutical, food, and meat-processing industries that experience high foot traffic during shift changes. Using a forced-guide system, this sole cleaning machine ensures efficient, tamper-proof, and hygienically flawless cleaning of the soles and sole edges of shoes and boots, as well as boot shafts.

Workers exit the sensitive production areas after passing through a brush roller module that thoroughly cleans their soles and the edges of their shoes. This hygiene station prevents dirt from being carried into other areas of the facility. Following the continuous-flow sole cleaner, a shaft cleaning device is installed to ensure thorough cleaning of boot shafts. People wearing shoes or clogs exit the shoe sole cleaner via the intermediate platform, while those wearing boots exit the system after the boot shaft cleaning module . This system is therefore particularly well-suited for facilities where staff wear different types of footwear.

To enter the hygienic area, employees must walk through a pass-through sole cleaner. As they do so, they walk on a slip-resistant stainless steel grating. The high-quality nylon bristles of the two roller brushes protrude through the grating. The rotation of the roller brushes scrubs all dirt and grime off the soles and edges of the shoes. At the same time , the brushes are continuously moistened with a mixture of water and cleaning agent. The dosage of the cleaning or disinfectant agent is regulated by an automatic, individually adjustable dosing system. The system is activated by a sensor control that is triggered when a person steps onto the sole cleaning machine.

After the soles of the boots, clogs, and work shoes have been thoroughly cleaned, those wearing shoes and clogs can exit the hygiene station via an intermediate platform. Those wearing boots, on the other hand, clean their boot shafts in the shaft-cleaning module. The three rotating roller brushes with nylon bristles remove all contaminants from the boot shafts. The shaft cleaning module is also equipped with an automatic dosing system for the cleaning agent. With their boot shafts thoroughly cleaned, boot wearers can then also enter the sensitive production areas. If needed, three different canister holders for sole cleaning are available as accessories (see below): 24 L wall-mounted, 24 L freestanding, and 20/25 L lockable.

Anti-slip steps are installed at all entrances and exits, allowing for safe and comfortable access to the sole cleaning system. To ensure a secure footing during sole and boot shaft cleaning, the system is equipped with stainless steel handrails on both sides. Additional safety is provided by a side guard, which, thanks to its extra-high profile, also serves as a splash guard. The Sole cleaner also features high-quality stainless steel adjustable feet for optimal leveling of the unit. Thanks to maintenance hatches that allow easy access to all functional parts, finely polished surfaces, and the fact that the roller brushes can be removed in just a few simple steps without tools, the maintenance and cleaning requirements for the shoe sole cleaner are minimized to an absolute minimum.

The cleaning system for boots and soles is assembled and delivered ready for connection; however, the siphon, backflow preventer, seals, small parts, and on-site installation are not included in the price. Installation is very simple—just follow our instructions—and can be carried out, for example, by a local plumbing company. The unit is delivered on a pallet by truck to the curb.
