PROFI Compact hygiene station with boot cleaning

The PROFI Kompakt hygiene station with boot cleaning system was developed for heavy-duty, daily use in medium- to large-scale production facilities in the food, slaughterhouse, and pharmaceutical industries. With its combination of mechanical sole cleaning followed by automatic disinfection of boot shafts, this hygiene station is ideal for access points to production areas where employees wear different types of footwear. This cleaning system ensures controlled, hygienically flawless, and extremely time-efficient hand disinfection, as well as disinfection of shoe soles and boot shafts before entering sensitive hygiene areas.

To enter the protected production areas, employees first walk through a walk-through shoe sole cleaner equipped with high-quality nylon brushes. Hand disinfection also takes place during the sole cleaning process. Those wearing boots then clean their boot shafts in a shaft cleaning module. An intermediate platform is installed in front of the boot-shaft cleaning module, allowing those wearing clogs and work shoes to quickly and conveniently exit the hygiene station.

In this hygiene station , shoe and hand disinfection begins when employees step into a walk-through sole cleaner. Employees walk on a slip-resistant stainless steel grating through which the nylon bristles of the two roller brushes protrude. The rotation of the brushes is triggered by a sensor, and the rotation duration can be individually programmed. The rotating nylon brushes remove all dirt adhering to shoes and boots. At the same time , an automatic metering pump (individually adjustable) dispenses the cleaning and disinfectant solution onto the soles of the shoes via the brushes. The soles of work shoes, boots, and clogs are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in a short amount of time.

While the employee is still inside the walk-through foot sanitizer, they hold their hands in the openings of the hand sanitizer module. Sensors trigger the sanitizing process. Full-cone spray nozzles evenly distribute the disinfectant onto both hands at the preset dosage. As soon as the sensors detect that the hands are continuously present, the extremely robust, electric stainless-steel turnstile is released toward the production area. The unlocking of the passage is indicated by a multi-LED display (red/green). Furthermore, this display signals malfunctions such as a shortage of disinfectant or sensor contamination.

After passing through the turnstile system, employees enter an intermediate platform. Here, those wearing shoes or clogs can exit the hygiene station through a separate exit. Employees wearing boots enter the boot shaft cleaning module. The nylon bristles of the three vertical roller brushes remove all dirt adhering to the boot shafts and disinfect them with the automatically dispensed disinfectant solution. The shaft cleaning device is activated by a sensor in the handle.

All entrances and exits to the cleaning system are equipped with slip-resistant, removable steps that allow users to enter and exit the hygiene station safely and comfortably. Sturdy support is ensured throughout the entire disinfection process by the stainless steel handrails mounted on both sides. In addition, this system is equipped with side impact protection and height-adjustable stainless steel screw-in feet. To enable rapid evacuation in emergency situations , the hygiene station is equipped with an emergency stop switch that immediately stops the machine and unlocks the turnstile in both directions. This also occurs automatically in the event of a power failure.

All functional parts of this cleaning system are easily accessible through maintenance hatches. In addition, all nylon brushes can be removed in just a few simple steps without tools, which reduces the maintenance and cleaning effort required for the hygiene station to a minimum. The side-mounted canister holder for hand sanitizer is included as standard. If needed, three different canister holders for sole cleaning are available as accessories (see below).
The PROFI Kompakt hygiene station with boot cleaning is delivered assembled and ready for connection; however, the siphon, backflow preventer, seals, small parts, and on-site installation are not included in the price. Installation is very simple—just follow our instructions—and can be performed, for example, by a local plumbing company. Delivery is made on a pallet by truck to the curb.
