ECO Cleaning Station with Hand and Sole Disinfection

The ECO hand and foot disinfection station was developed to ensure optimal operational hygiene in large-scale production facilities in the food industry, slaughterhouses and meat-processing plants, and the pharmaceutical industry. This hygiene station is particularly recommended for facilities with high, simultaneous staff traffic at the start of shifts and during shift changes in larger production facilities. Thanks to its foolproof guided path and efficient cleaning performance, this cleaning and disinfection system ensures rapid and hygienically flawless cleaning and disinfection of boot and shoe soles, as well as employees’ hands, when entering and exiting sensitive hygiene areas. The individual components of this two-lane hygiene station are designed to meet the highest safety standards and withstand heavy-duty use with high cycle rates , guaranteeing the highest hygiene standards.

The ECO hand and sole disinfection station is available in two different versions (see options). The standard version includes a disinfection basin with a drip zone in the entry lane. Exit from the hygienic area is via a pass-through sole cleaner equipped with two rotating nylon brushes. Optionally, both directions of travel can be equipped with brush roller modules (instead of the disinfection basin in the entry lane).

Upon entering the hygiene station on the way to the production areas, the employee first places their hands into the opening of the hand sanitizing module. Tamper-proof sensors detect the presence of the hands and trigger the sanitizing process via two full-cone spray nozzles. Only after the disinfection program has been fully completed is the robust, electric turnstile unlocked, allowing the employee to enter the sensitive production areas. The unlocking of the turnstile is indicated by a multi-LED display.

In the standard configuration, the employee stands in a disinfectant tub throughout the entire process, which ensures thorough disinfection of the soles of shoes and boots. The basin is equipped with a non-slip grating and an automatic dosing system. Following the disinfectant basin is a drip tray that prevents moisture from being carried into the production areas. In the version with two roller brush modules, employees’ shoe soles are cleaned by rotating nylon round brushes with automated dispensing of disinfectant .

Upon exiting the hygiene area, the employee steps onto a roller brush module. The sturdy nylon bristles of the round brushes extend through the stainless steel grating on which the employee walks. The sensor-controlled rotation of the brushes thoroughly cleans the soles as employees leave the production areas and prevents dirt and debris from being carried into the break room area of the production facility. The exit lane is equipped with a one-way mechanical stainless steel turnstile.

Upon request, this hygiene station can also be equipped with hand disinfection stations on both sides and automatically controlled electric turnstiles. With this dual-lane configuration, various options for sole cleaning and disinfection are available. If needed, three different canister holders for sole cleaning are available as accessories (see below): 24 L wall-mounted, 24 L freestanding, and 20/25 L lockable.

This hygiene sluice is made entirely of high-quality stainless steel with finely polished surfaces . All functional components of the system are accessible via maintenance hatches, allowing for quick and easy maintenance of the machine. In addition, the brushes of the shoe sole cleaner can be easily removed and replaced in just a few simple steps. State-of-the-art data and time-recording systems can be effortlessly integrated into this hygiene station.

The ECO hand and foot disinfection station is delivered fully assembled and ready for connection; however, the siphon, backflow preventer, seals, small parts, and on-site installation are not included in the price. Installation is very simple—just follow our instructions—and can be carried out, for example, by a local plumbing company. The unit is delivered on a pallet by truck to the curb.
