ECO Kompakt III Hygiene Station

The combination of hand washing, hand disinfection, and sole cleaning in the ECO Kompakt III hygiene station makes this cleaning system ideal for small to medium-sized production facilities where high hygiene standards must be maintained.This hygiene station isdesignedfor daily use at high-traffic entry points toproduction facilities in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

The hygiene station is equipped with a touchless, sensor-controlled handwashing module, a tamper-proof hand sanitizer dispenser with an electric stainless steel turnstile, and a walk-through sole cleaner with brush rollers. The system ensures that all employees’ hands and soles are thoroughly clean and disinfected, while being extremely time- and energy-efficient. Compliance with the highest hygiene standards is monitored and ensured through a tamper-proof, sensor-controlled guidance system .

The complete cleaning and disinfection process consists of the following four steps:

1. When an employee approaches the hygiene station, a red LED indicates that the system is ready for use. Upon touchless activation of the sensor in the hand wash basin, soap is dispensed through a separate soap dispenser. The soap solution dosage and the duration of soap dispensing (1–3 seconds) can be customized to meet the facility’s specific requirements. The water then begins to flow automatically from the faucet for the preset duration.

2. Hands are dried using the built-in folded paper towel dispenser. After drying your hands, the used paper towel can be disposed of in the designated stainless steel wire mesh wastebasket.

3. The employee then steps onto a grating positioned above the brush rollers of the shoe sole cleaner. The rotation of the high-quality nylon brushes, which protrude through the grating, scrubs all dirt from the soles of boots and shoes. An automatic metering pump dispenses the cleaning and disinfecting solution through the rotating brush rollers onto the soles of the shoes and boots. As the user walks through the walk-through shoe cleaner, the soles are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in a matter of seconds.

4. While the employee is still standing in the shoe-cleaning station, they hold their hands in the two openings of the hand sanitizer dispenser. Two sensors ensure that the hands remain in the device at all times and trigger the hand disinfection process. Full-cone spray nozzles completely cover the hands with the preset amount of sanitizer.

Once all four steps have been completed, the vandal-proof, single-person electric turnstile is activated for production access, and the employee can enter the hygiene area. To indicate this, the LED display turns green.

Any malfunctions, such as a shortage of disinfectant or dirty sensors, are indicated by a yellow LED light. The hygiene station is equipped with an emergency stop switch that immediately halts the system and unlocks the stainless steel turnstile in both directions to allow for evacuation. In addition, the cleaning station is equipped with stainless steel handrails to provide a secure grip during the cleaning process. Furthermore, the hygiene station features height-adjustable screw-in feet and slip-resistant steps for safe and comfortable entry and exit from the system.

The hygiene station is made entirely of high-quality stainless steel with finely polished surfaces. To minimize cleaning and maintenance efforts, the nylon brushes can be removed in just a few simple steps without tools. In addition, thanks to the ingenious design, all functional parts are accessible via maintenance hatches. The side-mounted dispenser holder for hand sanitizer and liquid soap is included as standard. If needed, three different dispenser holders for sole cleaning are available as accessories (see below).

The ECO Kompakt III hygiene station is delivered fully assembled and ready for connection; however, the siphon, backflow preventer, gaskets, small parts, and on-site installation are not included in the price. Installation is very simple—just follow our instructions—and can be performed, for example, by a local plumbing company. Delivery is made on a pallet by truck to the curb.
