The introduction of dust, fibers, and other small particles poses a significant problem in many manufacturing facilities. Especially in food production, printed circuit board manufacturing, electrical engineering facilities, and other companies with cleanrooms, it is essential to prevent such small particles from being introduced. Our air shower is the ideal solution to this problem in our product lineup.
This is a walk-in stainless steel booth with safety glass doors. High-speed propellers reliably blow all microscopic particles off employees’ clothing. The blown-in air is then extracted along with the particles, purified through HEPA filters, and finally recirculated into the closed loop . This prevents contamination of cleanrooms caused by the escape of the exhausted air. We offer two different versions of our air shower: a version with access control via locked doors for cleanrooms and hygiene areas (available upon request) and this version, with unlocked doors, for industrial applications with less stringent requirements.

Using the air shower is extremely simple. When the system is in standby mode, an employee can simply open the safety-glass door and enter the stainless-steel cabin. When the door closes, the cleaning process begins. The high-speed blower (5,000 m³/h) blows four columns of air through seven air valves each, removing all fibers, dust, and other small particles from the employees’ clothing. The 37 m/s airflow, which removes more than 99.9% of contaminants from the clothing, is extracted through exhaust vents along with the dislodged particles. The airflow moves in a closed loop. The extracted air first flows through two pre-filters that capture coarser particles, and is then purified by an EU 13 HEPA air filter before being blown back into the cabin. The HEPA filter captures 99.995% of particles between 0.3 and 10 microns. Upon explicit request, an EU 14 HEPA filter can also be installed.
As an additional option, an integrated, automatic shoe sole cleaner can also be purchased upon request. In this case, the employee stands on the shoe sole cleaner throughout the entire cleaning process. The side-to-side movement of the special brush strips, which run in opposite directions, scrubs all dirt off the soles and the edges of the shoes. As a result, employees enter the sensitive production areas not only with spotlessly clean clothing, but also with perfectly cleaned shoe soles.
The air shower is available in two different versions. The version with lockable doors (available upon request) is suitable for facilities with high clean air requirements, such as food production facilities and electronics manufacturing plants. The door lock ensures that an employee completes the entire 20-second cleaning cycle before being allowed to enter the production area. Of course, the duration of the cleaning cycle and the strength of the airflow can be adjusted to meet the individual needs of each facility. The version without a door lock is designed for industrial applications with less stringent regulations, where employees can decide for themselves how long the cleaning process should last.
Compared to other air showers, our model stands out above all for the sophisticated design of its interior. All surfaces are completely smooth and each is made from a single sheet of stainless steel. This prevents the formation of air turbulence, which could interfere with proper cleaning. In addition, all electronic components—such as cables, propellers, air filters, etc.—are physically separated from the inner housing, which further reduces the formation of air turbulence and the risk of contamination.
Our air shower is delivered in two parts for easy, safe, and quick installation. The fan and filter components can be easily mounted on the stainless steel enclosure upon delivery. The system also requires very little maintenance. Aside from the regular replacement of filters and lighting elements, the air shower rarely needs attention. This is made possible by its robust construction and the use of high-quality components, which ensure the cleaning unit has a long service life. The air shower is ready for connection and can even be installed by qualified personnel. Installation is not included in the price.
