The two-lane hygiene station with controlled entry and exit is designed for high staff traffic during shift changes in medium- to large-scale food production facilities, slaughterhouses and meat-processing plants, as well as pharmaceutical industry facilities. The hygiene station uses a tamper-proof guided path to ensure time-efficient, bypass-proof, and hygienically flawless hand disinfection and sole disinfection of employees as they enter the hygiene area.

The sensitive production areas are exited via a brush roller module, which thoroughly cleans the soles and thus prevents dirt from being carried into other areas of the facility. Following the walk-through sole cleaner, a shaft-cleaning module is installed to thoroughly clean the boot shafts. People wearing shoes or clogs can exit the hygiene station via an intermediate platform, making this system particularly suitable for facilities where employees wear different types of footwear.

To enter the hygiene area, employees first step into a disinfection tray equipped with a non-slip stainless steel grating. While standing in the disinfection solution, employees hold their hands in the openings of the hand sanitizer dispenser. Sensors detect the continuous presence of the hands and trigger the hand disinfection process via spray nozzles. Only after hand disinfection is complete is the vandal-proof, electrically controlled stainless steel turnstile unlocked. A light signal (red/green) indicates that the turnstile has been unlocked. Beyond the turnstile is a drip zone that catches most of the liquid dripping from shoes and minimizes the carryover of moisture into the production areas.

When leaving the production areas, employees pass through a sturdy, one-way swing door marked with a clear directional sign. They then step onto a walk-through sole cleaner. The nylon bristles of the two roller brushes protrude through the stainless steel grating on which employees walk. The rotation of the brushes thoroughly scrubs contaminants from the soles of boots and shoes. An automatic detergent dosing system applies the individually adjusted water-detergent mixture to the soles of shoes and boots. Employees wearing boots then enter a boot shaft cleaning module. The three brushes, in turn, scrub all dirt from the employees’ boot shafts. People wearing work shoes and clogs exit the system via the intermediate platform located between the walk-through sole cleaner and the shaft cleaning module.

To ensure convenient and safe access to the hygiene stations , all entrances and exits are equipped with slip-resistant, removable steps. In addition, sturdy stainless steel handrails are installed on all cleaning modules to provide a secure grip. To prevent water splashes, the roller brush module is additionally equipped with integrated splash guards. The cleaning system and the individual steps feature high-quality, height-adjustable stainless steel screw-in feet. All modules are equipped with an emergency stop switch that automatically halts the individual cleaning stations and, where possible, immediately clears access in both directions. The hygiene station is constructed entirely of high-quality stainless steel with finely polished surfaces and is characterized by minimal maintenance and cleaning requirements.

The various cleaning modules can be ordered individually upon request. The siphon, backflow preventer, gaskets, and small parts, as well as on-site installation, are not included in the price. Installation is very simple—just follow our instructions—and can be performed, for example, by a local plumbing company. Delivery is made on a pallet by truck to the curb.
