When an employee enters the station, the first thing they do is place their hands into the opening of the hand-cleaning station. Their hands are thoroughly cleaned with water and an automatically dispensed cleaning solution. Afterward, they hold their hands under the sensor-activated hand dryer. The high-speed hand dryer dries the hands touch-free in just a few seconds. Thanks to Microban technology, HEPA-filtered cold air, optimized air vents, and a drip tray to catch excess liquid, compliance with the highest hygiene standards is ensured.

After drying their hands, employees can place their hands in the hand sanitizing unit of the hygiene station. Their hands are then thoroughly sanitized by sensor-controlled spray nozzles. The sturdy stainless-steel turnstile is not released until the sanitizing process is complete. The unlocking is indicated by color-coded LEDs.

The soles of shoes and boots are cleaned by two rotating roller brushes, which are activated by a sensor when the user enters the hygiene station. Throughout the entire hand cleaning and disinfection process, the user stands on the rotating nylon brushes, which thoroughly scrub away all dirt adhering to the shoes. The automatic dispensing and application of disinfectant ensure that the soles of shoes, boots, and clogs are perfectly clean upon entering the production area. When leaving the cleanroom, the soles are cleaned again, which prevents dirt from being carried into the break rooms. The turnstile is activated by a sensor, eliminating the need to clean one’s hands again.

To prevent water splashes, the cleaning system is equipped with splash guards on both sides. Removable steps are installed before and after the hygiene station to ensure convenient and safe access to the system. A sturdy handrail ensures a secure grip throughout the entire cleaning process. In addition, the airlock is equipped with an emergency stop button that immediately halts the system and unlocks the turnstile in both directions to allow for rapid evacuation.

The hygiene station is made entirely of high-quality stainless steel with finely polished surfaces. The roller brushes of the continuous sole cleaner can be removed in just a few simple steps for quick cleaning. Furthermore, all functional parts are accessible via maintenance hatches, which keeps the machine’s maintenance requirements to a minimum.
